Case Statement
- Safety and security of our students and staff has always been a high priority at FBCS. We believe eliminating modular classrooms and moving the classes into a main building with state of the art security would be in the best interest of our students.
- Faith Bible Christian School has always existed as a service organization by meeting the needs of families and the local community. We desire to keep and expand this rich tradition by upgrading facilities and creating new facilities to better meet the needs of people and to serve more of the community. We plan to make some of our facilities available to the community, educational groups and service groups as a part of this goal.
- We are committed to giving our students the best education available. Upgrading classrooms to better accommodate science labs, music classes, and other specialty areas would improve our academic program. Adequate storage for classroom equipment would be an essential piece of this upgrade.
- Cost savings through the combining of administration, lunchroom, physical education and janitorial duties
- Cost savings through the sharing of some utility costs including internet
- Capitalize on the strengths of our teaching staff to better serve the needs of all students by offering a wider range of electives, math classes, science classes, home economics, etc.
- Create a dedicated science learning center
- Creating a space for a lunchroom so that the elementary doesn’t have to eat in their classrooms
- Owning a soccer/softball field of our own would result in decreased rental fees and allow OSAA use and community access
- Owning an OSAA approved gym would decrease the need (and cost) for bussing to alternative gym sites and allow us to host more sporting events
- A gym and auditorium area would provide a place for the entire Faith family to come together for programs, graduations, performances, chapel, prayer and more
- Higher retention numbers realized as regards students moving from junior high to high school
- Be a blessing to the community
- Consolidation of computer servers and support
- Create a dedicated computer learning center
- The spirit of unity enhanced between campuses by, “bringing the family together”
