How did Faith Bible Christian School start? In 1976, two families with young children were looking for Christian education solutions for their families. Faith originally began as a ministry of Faith Bible Church, and in 1995 the school became an independent Christian school.

Who do we serve? Pre—kindergarten children through high school seniors and their families.
Where do our students live? Most students come from greater Washington County and Multnomah County.
Who are the students of Faith Bible Christian School? Our students come from Christian families that have shown their commitment to the Christian education of their children. As a whole, our students show godly values and behavior that reflects well on their family and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Are we currently associated with or subsidized by a church? No, we are non-denominational and serve the Christian home. In fact, our students represent about 60 churches in our community.
What is our current student enrollment? There are currently about 380 enrolled at Faith Bible. 265 at our elementary campus and 115 in our High School.
Who teaches at Faith Bible Christian School? All teachers at Faith Bible acknowledge a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They are professionals who have years of experience teaching and caring for students.
How many faculty and staff? 50 total (full and part time)

What do we use to measure our academic achievement? We use the Stanford Achievement Test. Faith Bible scored in the 77th percentile as an average in all grades. We are also measured on our SAT scores. Last year, Faith Bible had three National Merit Finalists. This year, we have one of only two National Merit Finalists in the Hillsboro school district.
What do our students do after graduating from High School? About 85% of our graduates attend colleges and universities, about 5% attend vocational schools, about 5% enter the military services, and about 5% enter the workforce directly after high school.
